Paul Hodkinson is programme director of the Sociology, Culture and Media degree, run by the Department of Sociology at the University of Surrey. Most of his own teaching relates to sociology of media and culture, though he also has taught on social research methods and social theory modules.

Currently he is coordinates and teaches undergraduate modules entitled Media, Communication and Society 1, Media, Communication and Society 2 and Music, Media and Technology. Details of these modules can be found at the Sociology, Culture and Media site.

He also supervises undergraduate and Masters dissertations related to the sociology of media and culture.
